Tisno,
small croatian village, is divided between an island and mainland,
connected by a 20m bridge.
Tisno was first mentioned by the name 'Kraj In Tisno' in 1474. The
place owes its name to the Croatian word for 'strait' (tisno) where a
narrow sea-flow separates the mainland from the island of Murter.
The historic, old part of Tisno is located on the Murter island,
whereas the new area is located on the mainland.
Beautiful sea, delicious dalmatian specalities, nice people, ...
we are sure you will have the holiday of your life in Tisno.
