The other staff, except the lady at the reception, were terrible. While eating, we were seated in the scorching sun without an umbrella at 35 degrees Celsius. When we asked if we could eat at a table in the shade, we were told that they had nowhere free, even though many tables were empty. This continued throughout our stay, even though many people had left. We felt like intruders, not guests! Never again!!!!! Plus the omnipresent wasps at the food, which none of the staff dealt with.

The staff was indifferent, uninterested in the guest, we dined in the direct sun without an umbrella in 40 degrees Celsius, when we asked to be moved to the shade, no one talked to us at all, even though there were plenty of free tables and they kept us there the entire time we stayed

Relatively bad road to the hotel, not enough parking, single balconies for three rooms, unsuitable pillows, fairly monotonous breakfasts, sometimes suspicious color of the sea in the swimming pool next to the hotel (poor sewage?), modest offer in the mini market, malaise due to suspected virus among many guests, more difficult access to the sea for the elderly

no refrigerator in the room poor selection of TV channels despite offering SAT TV small room, balcony door could not be opened air conditioning installed directly opposite the bed

It's a bit awkward at breakfast sometimes, because the thermoses don't have any labels indicating what's in them (tea, coffee, cold milk, cold milk, water). It would be nice to have labels in at least English, German and Italian, as there are quite a few guests whose native language is one of these languages.

For the first time, we couldn't wait to go home. We were more hungry than full. Every morning and every evening, cats circled the tables looking for food. The bathroom furniture (soap dish and toilet paper holder) was more hanging on the wall than screwed in. If you wanted to turn on the air conditioning, you had to pay extra at the reception. In short, the current Timun hotel is not even a shadow of the hotel from years ago, which is why we came to Hvar again.
