Location:The lighthouse is a stone, ground-floor building surrounded by a terrace. There is one five-bed apartment in the lighthouse. The peninsula itself is a forest park.
Distance:St. Peter lighthouse was built in 1884 on the peninsula of the same name that is placed at the entrance to the town of Makarska, in the vicinity of one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. The lighthouse is a 20 minute walk from the center of Makarska and is 85 km from Split Airport. An asphalt road leads to the lighthouse.
Beach:The distance from the lighthouse terrace to the sea is 10 meters. There are several beaches with flat rocks suitable for suntanning in the vicinity of the lighthouse. When going from the lighthouse to Makarska, you will pass by one of the most beautiful pebble beaches on the Adriatic that has been awarded a Blue Flag. It is suitable for small children and offers numerous recreational activities and restaurants.
