I wanted to find at least one compliment, but after much thought, I couldn't find a single one.
1. RECEPTION STAFF: upon arrival at the destination, we were met by an uncommunicative receptionist who, on top of everything, was also terribly tired of doing her job.
2. DINING ROOM STAFF: I think that considering that the end of the season was approaching, they didn't make that much of an effort to change the dirty tablecloths in the dining room, the chairs covered with chair covers were stained with food, I assume since the seasonal opening, and I'm not even talking about the carpet laid out in the dining room - grease stains every ten centimeters
3. FOOD: during the seven days of our stay, the food was as follows - the provider basically has nothing to go wrong with breakfast, but we had cold eggs, cheap salami, hot dogs, etc. EVERY day. Lunch was the same every day, and cold too... they apparently couldn't get the heaters to turn on. Dinner was the same every day, with the exception of one evening when the hotel director was visiting, and just as cold. Even when they brought new food from the kitchen, it was already cold. I really don't know how they managed that. Everything was probably baked and cooked in the afternoon. Desserts - sponge cake poured with sweetened water and some strange cream. For fruit, a sliced melon every day.
3. ROOM CLEANLINESS: The maids probably try their best, but I can't rate the rest, as we only needed fresh towels.
4. SLEEP: considering that the hotel also accommodated hotel guests who did not know what etiquette was, and at the reception they were called friends from Lithuania, for whom the point was to get drunk and fight both day and night, sleep was anything but sleep. After two sleepless nights, they moved us to another room, which was a pity because they wanted to move us again because of the fight every night, but we refused, because we did not come to move but on vacation, so we spent five nights awake in a bed that does not befit a four-star hotel. The most interesting thing is that the hotel management does absolutely nothing about this behavior of hotel guests, on the contrary, as I wrote, our friends from Lithuania told them.
5. SWIMMING POOL AND SAUNAS: A DISASTER. The cleanliness was at such a level that the inspectors had to close the place down to the staircase. Their friends from Lithuania also added their own, doing things in the wellness area (saunas and swimming pool) that in most cases belong behind four walls, but the wellness receptionist was powerless against such behavior.
Even if we hadn't had the misfortune of having guests from Lithuania staying at the hotel during our stay, this hotel does not deserve a 4-star rating (rooms, beds, food quality), and especially because I think it is unacceptable that the hotel's employees and management do not react to the above-mentioned incident except to offer you another room, even though they know that they did nothing except take away your time to move out of the rain.
I advise anyone who wants a quiet vacation not to choose Hotel Punta.
